Upcoming live show and a short film

Hello! 
We’ve got some exciting news about some current projects.

Next month we will be returning to the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival-LA (Sept. 27-28) performing another original adaptation of a classic weird tale in the style of “old radio”. The festival is selling tickets through their Kickstarter as well as “There in Spirit” passes that allow purchasers to view content from the festival (like our performance) remotely. Hopefully some of you will be able to join us either in the theater or from the comfort of your homes for some classic audio drama chills & thrills!

Also, we just finished our first short film project! While the setting of the film is not “old radio” or audio drama related the subject matter is decidedly Lovecraftian. We’ll be posting more on that soon…

Here it is! The premiere episode of Macabre Fantasy Radio Theater recorded LIVE at the 2012 H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival in San Pedro, CA at the historic Warner Grand Theater. We sincerely hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed performing it.

Macabre Fantasy LIVE at the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival – Los Angeles

HPLFF-LABIG NEWS!!! MFRT will be LIVE on stage at the 2012 Los Angeles H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival  at the Warner Grand Theater in San Pedro, CA on Friday, September 28th.

We will be performing an original adaptation of the classic Lovecraft “weird” tale, The Statement of Randolph Carter, presented in the style of a radio drama of the 1930’s.

Macabre Fantasy’s First Year

Well, it’s been just over a year since our first post. A lot has happened since then. We’ve been busy working on scripts of some of our favorite classics of the “weird” tale as well as enjoying reading some stories that we had, until now, not gotten around to reading but we feel will make for fantastic audio dramas.
